A Lifelong Dream: How It All Started

For as long as Mila can remember, our dining table was never just for dinner. It was covered in fabric samples, design sketches, and fashion magazines. Nora spent over twenty-five years working in local retail, helping thousands of women find outfits. But over the years, she felt that fashion was losing its personal touch. She always dreamed of creating a space of her own—a curation of pieces that don’t just look beautiful on a hanger, but make real women feel confident, comfortable, and elegant in their everyday lives.

In 2018, that dream finally became a reality. We decided to combine Olivia’s lifetime of retail experience with Grace’s passion for modern, timeless design. We launched Nora & Mila Toronto right here in Toronto. Since that very first day, we have handpicked every single item, ensuring they are designed for real lives, real bodies, and real comfort.

We noticed that so many clothes on the market are either stylish but scratchy and uncomfortable, or comfortable but lacking any elegance. We firmly believe that a woman should never have to choose between feeling good and looking her best.

From the soft linens we select to the finishing stitches of our knits, we focus on comfort, durability, and timeless style. These are the pieces we wear ourselves, curated with love and care for the modern woman who has a busy life but still wants to feel put-together.

An Honest Message: A Difficult Crossroads

We want to be completely transparent with you. Running a small, independent family business in Canada has become increasingly difficult lately. The rising costs of shipping across the provinces, high warehouse storage fees, and the general economic slowdown have hit us much harder than we ever anticipated. We have faced many sleepless nights, wondering how to navigate these challenges.

But we are not ready to let go of our dream. We have poured too much love, tears, and passion into this boutique to just give up.

To keep Nora & Mila Toronto alive and adapt to these tough economic times, we made the difficult decision to clear out our current inventory. That is why we are opening The Revival Sale, offering up to 70% off our entire collection.
